Here's the countdown for the 2023 Summer Game Fest. The event will happen on June 8 at 12 p.m. PDT on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

The 2023 Summer Game Fest will showcase trailers of upcoming games. It will also feature special game developers and be hosted by Geoff Keighley.

As for what else to expect during the event, Keighley stated on Twitter that fans can expect Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay. Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and the game's official Twitter page confirmed this as well.

Meanwhile, Forza Motorsport and Alan Wake 2 will also be featured at Summer Game Fest 2023. The latter game will show a gameplay demo to press, according to Alan Wake lead writer Sam Lake.

According to the official website, the event will be livestreamed on different platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, Steam, and TikTok on June 8.

There will also be live cinema screenings of the Summer Game Fest happening at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA. Tickets to this are now available.

"Summer Game Fest returns this year for its fourth year, but this year, we're doing something we've never done before," Keighley said in a video. "Our live showcase event is going to happen from the YouTube Theater."

For those who would like to co-stream the event, they can fill out an online form to become an official co-streamer.
