For the April 17 update, Adopt Me! introduces the Birthday Magic event, where players can celebrate the pet birthdays and collect various gifts like items, potions, chests, and even the legendary Purrowl.
If you just opened the game after the update, here is the only method of getting the Purrowl pet in Adopt Me!, including some tips to get as many gifts as possible during this update.

How to get Purrowl in Adopt Me
Purrowl can only be obtained as one of the possible gifts you can earn by aging up your pet. Every time your equipped pet gains a new age, you’ll get a specific chance at getting the Purrowl pet.
The Purrowl pet (also known as Meowl by the community) is a hybrid between a cat and an owl, hence the name. Its body is covered in a mix of brown feathers and fur, and its head has cat ears and a pair of big, round owl eyes.
Combining four fully aged Purrowls results in a Neon Purrowl, with the only physical difference being that it has blue glowing lines around its head, wings, and tail.

How does the Birthday Magic Update work?
The Birthday Magic in Adopt Me! adds a new feature that automatically grants birthday gifts to all players’ equipped pets, regardless of type or rarity, when they transition to a new age (Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Post-Teen, and Full-Grown).
The contents of birthday gifts are randomized, with rarer items like chests and eggs having a higher chance of appearing as your pet reaches a higher age. The rarest reward from a birthday gift is the update’s featured pet, the Purrowl.
If you raise a fully grown pet’s Friendship Level, you get an Age-Up Potion instead of a birthday gift.
Getting Purrowl and more gifts quickly in Adopt Me
Considering the abysmal chances of getting a Purrowl, simply playing the game and providing your pet’s needs to age them up won’t be an efficient method.
Instead, the key to enhancing your luck is by adding pets to your Pet Pen (the little pet house beside your home). Pets inside the Pet Pen will passively collect money and gain experience, allowing you to age multiple pets even if you’re offline.
You can also spend Robux to unlock extra slots in the Pet Pen, allowing you to age more than four pets at once. Another way to boost your chances is by using one or two alternate accounts, giving you more opportunities to earn not only the prized Purrowl but also additional gifts.
