A Red Gate Key is your ticket into some far more difficult areas of Pragmata, but do you get your hands on one?

Pragmata is full of surprises, and traversing its many levels doesn’t have to be a linear experience. There are tons of alternate paths you can take that reward you with upgrades, bonuses, and other rare items. Some of these items in Pragmata, however, are locked behind “Red Zones,” and these require a Red Gate Key to get through.

You’ll need plenty of Red Gate Keys during your time with Pragmata if you want to see everything the game has to offer, so let’s see where you can find them.

Fortunately for you, Red Gate Keys are fairly easy to find throughout any given level in Pragmata. More often than not, you’re able to find them right near a Red Zone’s location, making it simple to backtrack and enter the Red Zone without having to leave your current area.

For example, the first Red Zone you stumble across in Pragmata is in the second level of the main story, which takes you to a reimagined version of New York City. While walking through the main path, you’ll find a Red Zone and see that you need a Red Gate Key. Of course, you won’t have one yet, but if you keep walking a little further, you’ll find a Red Gate Key sitting on top of a restaurant counter.

Red Gate Keys come in bright red briefcases and they’re pretty hard to miss. Just interact with the briefcase, and you’ll earn yourself a Red Gate Key, which can be used to open the door of the Red Zone.

Sometimes, though, Red Gate Keys aren’t near where a Red Zone is located, so you’ll have to wait to open a zone until you can find one. If you don’t see any Red Gate Keys along the main path of a level, then you want to start checking side paths you might have missed.

These side paths are often blocked by something like the red and blue crystals in Pragmata, or you have to go out of your way to find them. Exploring an entire level is a massive benefit, though, so you definitely want to see everything a level has to offer if you want to upgrade Hugh and Diana as quickly as possible.

Red Zones can help with this tremendously, as completing them earns you rare rewards, such as mods, Pure Lunum, upgrade components, and more.
