Pure Lunum is one of the rarest resources you can find in Pragmata, but how do you add some to your arsenal?
There are several resources that you want to always keep an eye out for in Pragmata, but easily the most useful is Pure Lunum. This rare material is needed for numerous upgrades to Hugh and Diana, but you won’t be able to find it nearly as easily as regular lunafilament or other resources.

How to find Pure Lunum in Pragmata
To keep it short, Pure Lunum is almost always found by opening up chests in Pragmata. More specifically, you’re looking for white chests that can be opened by holding the hack button. There’s another type of chest, a red Safe Box, that looks similar to the white chests, but those only hold items like mods and Cabin Coins. Those are still useful, of course, but they won’t give you any Pure Lunum.
In total, there are 11 pieces of Pure Lunum scattered through the three Sectors in Pragmata. Here’s a breakdown of the sectors and how much Pure Lunum they offer:
- Sector 1: 1 Pure Lunum
- Sector 2: 4 Pure Lunum
- Sector 3: 6 Pure Lunum
As you can see, progressing in Pragmata rewards you with more and more Pure Lunum, as you’ll need it more for the higher-tier upgrades in the level two and three Shelter.
While you can find some of the white chests that hold Pure Lunum through completing story missions, most of them are locked behind secret pathways and areas in a given level. Sometimes, Pure Lunum is behind the red and blue crystals that you need to clear, while other times the resource is hidden at the end of an off-beaten path.
However, one of the most common sources of Pure Lunum in Pragmata is through completing Red Zones. These are more difficult areas of a level and require a Red Gate Key to enter. If you can complete a Red Zone, your reward is often a chest containing Pure Lunum.
How to use Pure Lunum in Pragmata
Now that you know some of the sources and locations of Pure Lunum, it’s time to figure out how to use the resource.
The main use of Pure Lunum is to buy upgrades for Hugh and Diana at the Shelter. If you visit the upgrade station at the Shelter, which is opposite the station where you use your Upgrade Components, you’ll see that some enhancements require Pure Lunum in addition to regular lunafilament.
These enhancements include upgrades to weapons and hacks, extra mod/hacking slots, or abilities, such as Thrusters or Critical Shot. You won’t need Pure Lunum until you’ve upgraded these things multiple times, but by the time you’ve reached Sector 3 in Pragmata, most of your upgrades will require Pure Lunum.
