Fi, who was introduced in Skyward Sword, quickly became a favorite amongst gamers. Her love for and devotion to Link was unmatched, especially with her transformation into the Master Sword. Even if you weren't a huge fan of the ally, you cannot deny her vital purpose within the timeline. The Master Sword is the most legendary blade ever to be wielded, and Fi is literally the only reason that weapon exists.

Fi's impact on The Legend of Zelda timeline is a sole reason why she is on the list of the best sidekicks in The Legend of Zelda.

With Ocarina of Time's popularity, and game-changing graphics and mechanics, Navi quickly became a fan favorite. The fairy helped Link in any way possible. She even stuck with him through his seven years of being asleep within the Temple of Time. I mean, what other sidekick would do that?

Navi will always go down in history as one of the best sidekicks in The Legend of Zelda.
