Esports.gg is proud to announce it will be donating $1,000 to Queer Women of Esports and committing to providing support and resources for queer gamers throughout the year.

Esports.gg's partners We Are Nations, Razer, and Rogue Energy will also be making donations to Queer Women of Esports to support the organization and the important work they do in the community. Esports.gg is pledging to feature prominent queer esports professionals, players, and community members and other organizations during the month of Pride and continuing outside of June.

"The eagerness and adaptability that Esports.gg has shown to not only bring awareness to what Queer Women of Esports is doing but also donate to support their initiatives has been amazing to see,” says Gillian “Kendryx” Linscott, Head of Digital for Esports.gg. “Seeing Esports.gg work with QWE to support their initiatives and values will hopefully change how organizations within esports approach supporting non-profits."

Queer Women of Esports is a non-profit organization dedicated to make competitive gaming more inclusive place for marginalized genders and orientations. Founded by Dr. Lindsey “GamerDoc” Migliore, and staffed by passionate and experienced volunteers in esports, QWE has been regarded as one of the most successful organizations of its kind.

Along with weekly gaming streams with prominent figures from the esports community, QWE has multiple initiatives focused on education, providing opportunities, and uplifting creators in the industry. Their bi-annual Mentorship Program launches on July 1st and is the only mentorship program in esports that allows for queer and marginalized genders to be supported and mentored by industry professionals.

This year their Mentorship Program will be giving mentees’ tablets, webcams, microphones, and more so that they are better equipped to work in the industry.
