Well-known Twitch streamer Sykkuno has responded to a recent cheating controversy after VTuber Hemomal published a document about him being unfaithful and misleading others.
Sykkuno responds to cheating controversy
On April 16, Twitch streamer Sykkuno made a post on X addressing a recent controversy about him and his girlfriend. In the statement, he apologized for being unfaithful and for misleading others by saying he was single.
“I was unfaithful and I own and fully admit to that,” Sykkuno stated. “I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right. I’m sorry to all of the people that I hurt by doing this.”
He continued, “The following is not an attempt to minimize what I have done, however I have seen false accusations about me that are not true. I cannot allow false accusations and such extreme labels to be placed on me.”
Sykkuno then asked people to not send hate to anyone involved, explaining that he and his girlfriend had already been working on their relationship and that the public exposure made it harder to heal. Sykkuno added that he will be taking a break from streaming to focus on personal growth and repairing the relationship as well.

Sykkuno’s girlfriend shares statement
The Twitch streamer’s post then included a section written by his girlfriend. In the section, she thanks folks who checked in on her and stated that she felt heartbroken after learning the truth. She also never wanted the issue to become public and felt she was not given a choice in that matter.
“It’s been extremely heartbreaking to learn everything I know now, and going through this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever been put through in my life,” she stated. “I’ve been tossed around from all sides, me and my reality have been continuously shattered. Though no matter how broken I am, I never wanted this to be public. It deeply hurts me that I wasn’t given a choice in that, or even just warned that this would be happening at all. I didn’t want this.”
She continued, “Even after the fact, I wish they would have at least checked in on me or asked me how I felt about everything, but I haven’t heard anything from the people involved since this all came out. I understand that those involved with him have been hurt as well, but I don’t believe my feelings were considered in this situation at all.”
According to the statement, the exposure made it harder for her to cope and added stress to an already difficult situation. She stated that she and Sykkuno had already been working on improving their relationship and that she chose to stay and try to repair it. She added that she believes the situation is not irredeemable and hopes everyone can focus on healing and becoming better versions of themselves.
