Fortnite has officially teased a collaboration with Suisei Hosimati, a Japanese VTuber with nearly 3 million YouTube subscribers.
Another V-Tuber collab is coming to Fortnite soon with the addition of Suisei Hoshimachi. This Japanese personality possesses nearly 2 million X followers and nearly 3 million YouTube subscribers. Although this collaboration leaked a few days ago, Fortnite’s Japan-based account has begun teasing it.

UPDATE: Release date revealed
It didn’t take long for Epic Games to formally announce the Suisei Hoshimachi collab. Official art came to light hours after the teaser, as did the March 12 release date. That means the VTuber will be one of the final collaborations of Chapter 7 Season1.

The FortniteJP account posted a subtle comet emoji, which went on to garner nearly 1 million views, giving players their first indication of the game’s next Icon Series collaboration. Sure enough, Suisei Hoshimachi’s account quote reposted it with the eyes emoji, which provided all the confirmation fans needed.
When the collaboration arrives, Suisei Hoshimachi will become the second V-Tuber to partner with Fortnite in as many months. Kizuna AI enjoyed the same recognition back in January with two skins and various other cosmetics. Suisei Hoshimachi is similar in that she gained recognition for her video game play and eventually began creating music.
Although the cosmetics remain encrypted, several leakers have datamined some of them, including a LEGO headpiece for the character and a microphone. Here is everything confirmed so far:

Epic Games’ teaser nor any leaks have confirmed a release date, so it could arrive before the end of Chapter 7 Season 1 or at some point in Chapter 7 Season 2.
Who is this V-Tuber?
If you still aren’t sure what the deal is, Suisei Hoshimachi is a V-Tuber who launched her YouTube channel in 2018. Affiliated with Hololive Production, Hoshimachi has become a notable figure in the V-Tuber scene. She maintains millions of followers across various social media platforms and has launched three studio albums since 2021.
