The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) 2023 Split 1 Playoffs will happen between Feb. 2 and Feb. 5 in London's Copperbox Arena. A total of 40 Apex Legends teams will duke it out for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. Points toward playoffs and the ALGS Championship will be also on the line.

Format

The ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will commence at 9 a.m. PT on Feb. 2, with the Group Stage being divided across the first two days of the tournament. These teams will be divided into four groups of 10 and play single six-match series against each other.

After the Group Stage, the 40 teams will fight in Bracket Stage under the double-elimination format. This stage will start at 2 a.m. PT on Feb. 4. The top 20 teams will advance to the Finals, which will kick off at 4 a.m. PT on Feb. 5 and crown the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs champion.

Groups

The 40 teams at the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will be split into four groups of 10, and each group will face each other in one six-match series. In addition to a piece of the $1,000,000 prize pool, Playoff Points on the line to help qualify for the Summer ALGS Championship.

Each team's performance at the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will also determine their regional slot distribution for the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs. The better the performance, the more spots of the region.

Prizing

Although 40 Apex Legends teams will compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool, only 20 of them will receive prize money for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs Finals.

All of the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs action can be watched on Twitch and YouTube.

Fans can also tune in for NiceWigg and Greek's on-site coverage, which will be live-streamed on NiceWigg’s Twitch Channel during the Group Stage. A watch party will then happen for the Bracket Stage and Finals.
