In Zenless Zone Zero, Ellen Joe belongs to the Victoria Housekeeping Faction. She's an S-Rank Agent with an Ice Attribute. She may be calm and nonchalant, but is extremely brutal in fights. She's a heavy damage-dealer who specializes in Attack during combat. In our ZZZ tierlist, she ranks as an S-Tier Agent who is among the most powerful.
Ellen Joe's overall theme is inspired by the American Jaws horror which sees her concept capture the shark theme. She has razor sharp teeth, shark accessories and design on her fit, but most importantly, she owns a massive shark fin tail.

Ellen Joe's entire skill kit lets her shine as an ultra damage dealer. Using her shark-shaped massive scissors, she is able to quickly slash and strike enemies. Her skills deal a TON of Ice DMG and during assist, she can also massively contribute to enemy's Daze bar.

- [Basic Attack] Saw Teeth Trimming: Unleash up to 3 attacks to deal Physical DMG. You can press repeatedly or hold during the 3rd attack to extend skill duration.
- [Sub-Attack] Flash Freeze Trimming: While Flash Freeze is active, you can activate this spell to launch 3 attacks at enemies in front and deal Ice DMG.
Core
- Flash Freeze: When Ellen has Flash Freeze Charges, the Flash Freeze effect is activated. This applies massive Ice DMG to both Ellen's Basic Attacks and Dash Attacks. She can have a maximum of 6 Flash Freeze charges.

Special Attack
- [Special Attack] Drift: Uses a quick tail sweep attack in front to deal Ice DMG.
- [EX Special Attack] Tail Swipe: With enough Energy, press Special Attack to do the tail sweep attack with a stronger force, dealing even more Ice DMG. After the move, you can follow up with a 3rd-hit of a basic attack.
- [EX Special Attack] Sharknami: With enough Energy after performing the EX Special Attack, you can press the Special Attack button once again to unleash a series of powerful slashes in front and deal significant Ice DMG.
Chain Attack
- [Chain Attack] Avalanche: When you select Ellen for a Chain Attack she will crash down from above and unleash an ice storm that deals massive Ice DMG.
- [Ultimate] Endless Winter: When her Decibel rating hits Maximum, activate Ultimate to crash from above, unleashing an ice storm followed up by a powerful scissor strike, dealing significant Ice DMG.
Assist
- [Quick Assist] Shark Sentinel: When the character on field is knocked back, switch to Ellen to activate. She will speedily move through the enemy and deal a cutting strike with her scissors, dealing Ice DMG.
- [Defensive Assist] Wavefront Impact: When the character on field is about to be attacked, switch to Ellen to activate. This will let Ellen deflect enemy's attack and deal massive Daze.
- [Assist Follow-Up] Shark Cruiser: Press Basic Attack after a Defensive Assist to activate. Ellen will charge and slash enemies in front to deal Ice DMG. You can press repeatedly or hold Basic Attack to extend skill duration.
