The Overwatch 2 Loverwatch game is now live! The text-based game features Mercy, Genji, and Hanzo alongside Valentine's Day rewards. Here's our guide on how to unlock the Loverwatch secret ending!
Overwatch 2 Loverwatch secret ending
To unlock the secret ending of the Overwatch 2 dating simulator, complete the romantic paths of both Mercy and Genji. Start a new game after completing these paths and you'll meet up with Cupid Hanzo. He will welcome you to his "realm of love" and talk about how impressed he is by your devotion to Mercy and Genji.
Cupid Hanzo will then say "Not only have you brought love to their hearts, but to mine as well" before giving you a token of his respect. This is the Cupid's Kiss highlight intro for Overwatch 2! Just log in to the game to equip it.
Completing Mercy and Genji's paths grants you their themed in-game icons. Meanwhile, the secret path gives you the Cupid's Arrow icon in Overwatch 2. There are also downloadable Valentine's Day cards for these heroes.

Overwatch 2 Loverwatch guide
Before you can unlock the secret ending, you must complete the Overwatch 2 Loverwatch paths for Mercy and Genji. Start the game by selecting either of these heroes and follow the advice of Cupid Hanzo. He's the best wingman, after all!
Mercy's path in Loverwatch
Mercy's path involves impressing her and seeing her as Angela Ziegler as opposed to just a healer. She also makes an interesting concoction of coffee and loves volunteering. On your third date with Mercy, she takes you to Cairo, Egypt. When Ana appears, selecting the "Date. I'm Angela's date" option results in hearts around Mercy.
Genji's path in the Overwatch 2 dating sim
For Genji's path in the Overwatch 2 dating simulator, make sure to follow Cupid Hanzo's hints about focusing on Genji and putting him first. Cupid may say he's not Hanzo, but he sure has those big brother vibes. So don't mess with Genji's heart!
Genji's path involves telling jokes that reference him, reassuring him that he's doing great, and understanding him on a deeper level. He is also a big fan of video games and Rikimaru Ramen.
On your third date with Genji, he invites you to Nepal where he talks about his past and bumps into Zenyatta. There's also a bittersweet moment where the game shows you a photo of Genji and Hanzo that was taken years ago.
When Genji asks about truly knowing one's sense of self, selecting the "Yes" option results in hearts around him.
