ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has announced the first part of its esports lineup for DreamHack Atlanta 2023! Taking place between Dec. 15 and Dec. 17 at the Georgia World Congress Center, the event will feature fighting game community (FGC) tournaments alongside Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Call of Duty: Mobile (CoD Mobile), and more. DreamHack Atlanta will also be the home to ESL's StarCraft II (SC2) Masters Winter Finals.

The event will have approximately $1.2 million in total prizing as well. This will be spread across various tournaments. In terms of FGC tournaments, they will include Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Guilty Gear Strive, and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.

"The event is open to all registered attendees, and competitors can face off to claim a slice of the $20,000 in total prizing or watch thrilling gameplay as local stars and pros alike battle on stage and on stream," the announcement stated.

ESL Challenger for CS2 enters DreamHack Atlanta

As part of the ESL Pro Tour for CS2, ESL Challenger will head to DreamHack Atlanta and feature eight teams duking it out for the lion's share of $100,000. A place in ESL Pro League Season 19 will also be on the line.

CoD Mobile World Championship 2023

Meanwhile, the best CoD Mobile teams will battle at DreamHack Atlanta for the bulk of a $1 million prize pool. Recently, Luminosity players won first place at the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3: North America (CoD Mobile SPS Season 3 NA) event. This earned them a spot in the upcoming CoD Mobile World Championship.

StarCraft II esports at DreamHack Atlanta

As for the ESL SC2 Masters Winter Finals, it will feature a $75,000 prize pool and Pro Tour points for the next ESL Pro Tour SC2 Championship.

"Participants can sign up for the ESL SC2 Masters Winter Finals and battle through Open Stage play, or qualify directly for the Winners Stage by winning regional competitions," according to the announcement.
