No RTZ?! Team Secret’s new Dota 2 roster has been revealed, featuring Puppey, Kyzko, Tobi, Adzantick, and Shad.

It is now official. Team Secret did not only change their Dota 2 roster — they built a completely new squad around Clement "Puppey" Ivanov — just like when they started. This information was previously leaked by two of their players, Remco "Crystallis" Arets and Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan.

Team Secret had a deadline in front of them: their invitation to the PGL Wallachia S2 Closed Qualifiers event. As this will be the first Tier 1 event after The International 2024, a full, new roster was needed as soon as possible. The full roster they announced is:

  • Indji "Shad" Lub
  • Elliott "Adzantick" Hammond
  • Tobias "Tobi" Buchner
  • Mikhail "Kyzko" Galkin
  • Clement "Puppey" Ivanov

Who are the new Team Secret Dota 2 players?

Shad and Adzantick are not new to the European competitive scene, as their last achievement was playing under Twisted Mind's brand. However, let's not forget their successful run with D1 Hustlers. That team that saw its peak during the Dota Pro Circuit.

Kyzko, on the other hand, has no relevant experience as a pro, but is an active ranked pubs player. Joining Team Secret's new Dota 2 roster will be his first experience as part of the Tier 1/2 scene. His previous team, Nightshade Esports, didn't qualify for any major tournament, but did play in the closed qualifiers for Elite League S1, finishing in eighth place. Skiter, Team Falcons' hard carry, publicly stated he is a "big Kyzko fan."

Last, but not least, let's not forget Tobi, whose last appearance was as the abrupt replacement for Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov on Tundra Esports. The team finished third despite the unexpected roster adjustment. Tobi has been a free agent ever since, which means his last competitive game was back in April.

When is Team Secret playing next?

Team Secret's new Dota 2 roster already played their first closed qualifiers match in PGL Wallachia S2. However, their opponent was the unknown team "Trouble Makers," a Turkish stack that came from the open qualifiers. Team Secret beat them 2-0, in 14 and 20 minutes each game. Below are some Team Secret versus Trouble Makers Reborn statistics via DOTABUFF.com.

Facing their next opponent will be the real test, as they'll play AVULUS. This stack includes Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau, another ex-Entity player just like Tobi. They already beat MOUZ 2-0 and are strong candidates for the qualifying spot.
