The Norwegian will keep playing with the North American squad.
North American organization Complexity has re-signed its CS2 AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli to a new contract on June 12.
The news comes after months of speculation surrounding the Complexity camp. It was a well-known fact that hallzerk's previous contract with the Dallas-based organization was expiring, and fans didn't know whether Complexity would stick with hallzerk or go after a new AWPer.
Although Complexity didn't reveal the length of hallzerk's new contract, this new deal likely secures his services until the end of 2024.

Hallzerk has been plying his trade with Complexity since July 2022. Until then, he only had played for European teams, most notably Dignitas and Nordavind.
Together with the North American organization, hallzerk went on to play in numerous Tier 1 tournaments and helped them to become a stable Top 10 team in the world.
While Complexity still lacks a big trophy in their cabinet, the team has been doing well since CS2 was released in September 2023. They most notably finished runners-up at IEM Sydney in October 2023, nearly made the playoffs of the PGL Copenhagen Major in March, and reached the semifinals of ESL Pro League Season 19 in May.
Given how difficult it is to find top AWPers in North America at the moment, it makes sense Complexity renewed with hallzerk. After all, he's averaging a respectable 1.09 rating on LAN this year, according to HLTV, and is only behind the star Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski in that regard.
The first tournament Complexity and hallzerk will play after this contract extension is the ESL Challenger Jönköping. The $100,000 LAN tournament will run from June 14 to 16 and features Complexity, The MongolZ, Falcons, Aurora, Party Astronauts, MIBR, ENCE, and Alliance.
