Learn who Caitlyn Kiramman, Enforcer in Arcane, and the “Sheriff of Piltover” in League of Legends is.

Caitlyn never misses. It seems like the writers of the Netflix series Arcane don't either, especially when it comes to deepening Caitlyn's lore. Learn what we know about the Piltover Enforcer Caitlyn Kiramman on Arcane Season 1, Season 2, and League of Legends here.

Caitlyn in Arcane Season 2

Arcane Season 2 showed Caitlyn's dealings with grief. Jinx's bombing of the Piltover Councilors' meeting at the end of Season 1 caused the death of several Councilors, Caitlyn's mother Cassandra included. Being in close proximity to Jinx prior to the bombing, Caitlyn expressed her guilt, telling her father that "I was there, I had the shot," after Cassandra's funeral.

This drove her into a spiral; the grief of losing her mother combined with the pressure of being the new head of the Kiramman house was a crown almost too heavy for her to bear.

Vi became her pillar throughout. The two eventually form an elite Enforcer squad of five to raid Zaun in pursuit of Jinx. Their relationship deepens even more and is sealed with a kiss in episode three. Less than ten minutes later, however, the two part ways. Caitlyn, claiming she had a clear shot on Jinx (who was being protected by Isha), was refused the angle by Vi. An altercation occurs between the two due to this.

Caitlyn returns to Piltover to become its Commander amidst martial law, under pressure exerted by Ambessa Medarda. Meanwhile, Vi is in the Undercity and eventually becomes a pit fighter.

Caitlyn in Arcane Season 1

We first see a young Caitlyn in Act 1, hanging around with her close friend Jayce. It was her mansion that Violet and her ragtag band of Undercity kids raided in the first episode, but the two do not meet yet.

An older Caitlyn, now an Enforcer, seeks out the release of Vi after the latter was thrown into Stillwater Hold post-Act 1. They go to Zaun, hunting down Jinx for her acts of terrorism. During her hunt, Caitlyn also learns more about the Undercity, dispelling some negative connotations she had about the area. Notably, the duo met the Firelights, led by Ekko, in their lair after Ekko kidnapped them.

The two grow closer in their adventures and uncover Silco's plot in the process. Caitlyn's investigation and her affection for Vi were eventually exploited by Jinx in the closing episode of Arcane Season 1. She was there when Jinx shot her rocket at the Councilors.

Caitlyn in League of Legends

Caitlyn's Arcane version closely mirrors her League of Legends version. However, the latter predates the show by quite some time. We can also see a version of Caitlyn, more in line with her in-game appearance, animated in the music video for Warriors.

"The Sheriff of Piltover" Caitlyn was released as a playable champion in January 2011. She is a marksman, utilizing her trusty rifle to take out targets from long range. Her skillset also has a trap and a dash to peel targets away from her. Her ultimate is a point-and-click ability, a precise sniper shot onto an enemy that fires after a channel.
