Who is in the Creator League? – All 8 Teams

The Creator League brings together some of the biggest influencers and esports personalities to compete in a series of events. With some of the biggest names as participants and team owners in this League, fans can expect packed entertainment and excitement in the Creator League Season 1.

Kicking off with Fortnite Zero Build, Creator League Season 1 will feature eight teams, each led by some of the biggest names in the industry. And leading the charge is Mr.Beast who is the League’s commissioner. Here are the Creator League teams and participants.

Team OTK (One True King) is an American Media organization based in Austin, Texas. Formed in October 2020, the media company was founded by Asmongold, Mizkif, Esfand, Rich Campbell, and Tips Out. 

Soon after formation, the organization announced its WoW roster to compete in World of Warcraft Shadowlands events. The winner of the Best Content Organization at the Streamer Awards 2022, OTK’s content production is not limited to any one game or section on Twitch.  Asmongold and Mizkif will be participating in the Creator League representing Team OTK.

Primarily known for his engaging content around World of Warcraft, Asmongold is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. A business degree a former IRS officer, Asmongold had to abandon plans to attend law school to take care of his mother. 

Meanwhile, his streaming career took off in a big way allowing him to make this into a full-time caterer. His depth of knowledge (World of Warcraft) and engaging conversations have earned him a loyal following on Twitch. In the past year, however, Asmongold has expressed a desire to venture into more of variety streaming and branching out. 

OpTic is one of the most popular esports organizations with a long history and multiple trophies across various games. Representing OpTic Gaming at the Creator League are Scump and H3cz. 

Two-time MLG X Games Gold medallist, also known as the King of CoD, SSeth ‘Scump’ Abner is a name that has become synonymous with the organization now. He has been a part of OpTic Gaming across multiple CoD Game titles ever since 2011. Widely considered to be one of the greatest Call of Duty players of all time, Scump also has a YouTube channel with over 2.7 million subscribers. 

His partner for the Creator League will be none other than H3cz. A veteran in the esports scene, managing teams since 2006, H3cz is back on OpTic Gaming as the CEO. He was one of the first to realize the importance of merchandise and branding in esports in the early 2000s. Starting his YouTube channel in 2008, H3cz provided fans with much-needed access to champion players. Recognized as one of the most authentic personalities in the industry, H3cz's love for esports has allowed his companies to scale new heights via content and titles.

Bella Poarch became famous through her gaming Tiktok videos. In 2021, FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves showed interest in signing her on to their organizations, which peaked her popularity. She released her debut single album in May 2022, "Build a Bi**h". The song video also features other notable personalities including Valkyrae, Mia Khalifa, Bretman Rock, and ZHC.

While the song is catchy, for the singer/streamer, it holds a deeper significance. She has mentioned how the song relates to her childhood when she was bullied. Bella Poarch has a loyal following across various social media platforms and is one of the most popular influencers today.

As of July 2023, Bella Poarch has 6.61 million YouTube subscribers and more than 93 million followers on TikTok.

Nicholas "Nick” is popular as part of the Dream Team along with Dream and GeorgeNotFound. Posting Minecraft videos on YouTube since 2019, the story behind Sapnap’s IGN is rather peculiar. 

Spanap’s original gaming name was PandasCanPvP. Dream recommended that he change his name to Sadnap - just Pandas in reverse. Since Sadnap was taken, Nick chose Sadnap as his IGN. 

With 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube and over three million on Twitch, Sapnap is among the most popular YouTube content creators. 

While Minecraft is one of his primary games, Sapnap plays various games. His streams often include games such as CS:GO, League of Legends, and more recently VALORANT. He joined Team NRG in October 2022 

Darren Jason Watkins Jr, also known as iShowSpeed, is popular for his variety of live streams. The Breakout Streamer of the Year at the 12th Streamy Awards saw a massive increase in his popularity from 2020-21 with some unique content. He plays and streams a wide multitude of games including FIFA, Roblox, Fortnite, and more.

In 2021, iShowSpeed released his first single, "Dooty Booty", on his YouTube channel. He has subsequently released quite a few singles on his YouTube with several of them garnering millions of views. 

iShowSpeed rose to fame due to his informational NBA 2K guides and videos. His reactions to various game-related stuff propelled him from 100,000 to 1 million followers in a span of just two months.

Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod rose to fame when he qualified for the 2017 Fortnite World Cup. The wholesome streamer has been one of the top Fortnite players ever since. He is popular for his high-ground 1v1s against opponents, often using the terrain to his advantage in Fortnite. He signed with NRG in 2020 making him one of the highest-paid streamers out there. 

At 18 years of age, Clix is already one of the most popular streamers with over 2.15 million subscribers on YouTube. 

Vincent Cole Hacker started with TikTok in 2019 with lip-syncing and selfie videos. And in 2020, he saw a massive rise in his popularity with millions of followers. Vinnie Hacker joined the TikTok collective 'Hype House' January 2021. It premiered on Netflix in 2022.

In June 2021, Vinnie won a boxing match against YouTuber Deji in the 'YouTube vs TikTokers' event. In November 2022, Vinnie Hacker won the 'Best TikToker' award from the 'TikTok Room Awards'

Connor Marc Colquhoun, CDawgVA, is a YouTuber, Voice actor, and influencer. Originally from Wales, he is currently based in Tokyo. 

CdawgVA’s videos also feature him in many cosplays and roleplaying characters such as butlers, pole dancers, and also musicians. While the variety in CdawgVA’s content has little competition, his popularity rose due to his anime-related content which was a big hit amongst his viewers. 

Besides his content creation, CDawgVA is also a Voice actor and has several games and a few animes to his credit. Some of the most notable game titles featuring CDawgVA as a voice actor include Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and Honkai Star Rail. He was also the voice behind Reiss Vulfe in Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles.

With unique and fun content such as this tantalizing slap contest, CDawgVA's fans always have something to look forward to on his channel.

The Eight teams will participate in the Creator League starting with Split 1 featuring Fortnite. With a loyal fanbase and unabashed competitiveness, fans can also influence the Creator League in their own way with the Creator League pass. One of the benefits of the pass also includes the ability to vote on things concerned with your community. At the same time, the Creator League Pass will also allow fans to compete in the qualifiers.
