WoW Secrets of Azeroth Day 11: OG Karazhan

As with all of our Secrets of Azeroth quests, head to the Valdrakken Inn to get your clue and get started. However, a majority of the steps for this one are simple. We're heading to the original Karazhan raid!

Don't know where that is? Let's talk.

How to get to the original Karazhan raid

You'll need to enter the entrance of the original WoW Karazhan raid, which dates back to The Burning Crusade expansion. Head to the zone Deadwind Pass, east of Duskwood and west of the Swamp of Sorrows. For Alliance, fly there from Stormwind. For Horde, it may be easiest to travel to Stranglethorn.

Regardless of faction, you'll want to walk through the front door entrance, found at the front of the castle. Do not go through the portcullis entrance up in the tower from the outside, as that leads to the Return to Karazhan raid from Legion.

Once inside you'll need to fight your way up to The Curator and the Guardian's Library. Using your Idol of Ohn'ahra, you'll solve the WoW Secrets of Azeroth Day 11 quest by opening the correct books. Open the four correct books then return to the inn for your reward.

And, hey: While you're here maybe just do a full clear of Karazhan. Subjectively the best raid in WoW, Karazhan offers a ton of cool transmogs, a few rare mounts, and lots of memories for us old fogies.
