If you've been away from World of Warcraft lately then you may not have noticed a growing mystery. A new kind of community secret-hunting quest, the Secrets of Azeroth event is running from August 31 to September 13. Each day brings a new mystery, tricky solutions, and the entire community working towards a goal. Today is day ten and with it comes new secrets to WoW, including where to go in Pinewood Post and complete a sacred burial.
Allow us to explain where the WoW location Pinewood Post is, why you have to go there, and how to be respectful while finding the Secrets of Azeroth!
Secrets of Azeroth Day 10: Pinewood Post, burial banners
By now you know the drill: Go to the Inn at Valdrakken, get your quest, check the clue. Today you'll be heading out to Maruukai in Ohn'ahran Plains. You'll speak to Sansok Khan and ask about how to bury Ishtar Rethon, a proud hunter of the clan. You'll be given the item Ishtar Rethon's Burial Banner and then sent off to find Innkeeper Jhara at Pinewood Post, an NPC in WoW.

Where is Pinewood Post in WoW?
You can get to Pinewood Post by heading east from Maruukai, left of where it says 'Shikaar Highlands' on the world map. The coordinates for the location is /way #2023 81.2 59.2. Once there, Jhara will give you the Path of Ishtar drawing, which will highlight Aged Markers you'll need to use your Idol of Ohn'nara at to progress.
The first market is just north of Jhara, located at /way #2023 83.9 48.5 by the Ohn'ara statue. The second aged marker takes you past Pinewood Post, down to a WoW location called the Roaring Dragonsprings. On the world map, this is just by the Forkriver Crossing and at /way #2023 78.6 83.3. The third Aged Marker sits at the middle of the map at Windsong Rise, location /way #2023 60.7 63.5.
For the fourth Aged Marker you'll be heading almost fully west to the burial grounds. Head to the largest mound and find the second room on the left at /way #2023 31.7 70.3.
The final Aged Marker is near the burial site, by the entrance to the Deadsnare Caverns in the Primordial Vale. As with other Secrets of Azeroth quests, you'll use the Torch of Pyyreth to clear spider web markers off the final objective.
Dead into Deadsnare and you'll eventually find the final marker, seen above. Complete the quest by clicking on the burial flag. The waypoint is located at /way #2023 42.7 51.0.
