Dr Disrespect is officially remonetized on YouTube, sparking quite a bit of reactions from the gaming community.

It has been revealed that Dr Disrespect's YouTube channel has officially been remonetized just six months after reports leaked that the streamer had been inappropriately messaging a minor on Twitch.

While YouTube has not made a statement on Dr Disrespect's channel being remonetized, the streamer himself mentioned it earlier today on his Rumble and YouTube stream.

Dr Disrespect goes live on YouTube and Rumble, announcing his YouTube is officially remonetized

The popular streamer took to his two streams today to declare that his YouTube has officially been remonetized. Just a few months ago, the creator had announced his signing with Rumble, allowing him to draw an income still when live streaming.

However, it looks as if his YouTube, which has amassed millions of followers and views, will officially be making money again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we got our f**king YouTube monetization back," said Dr Disrespect in his stream earlier today.

The news comes the same day Midnight Society, the game studio in which Dr Disrespect was a co-founder and later terminated, announced its official closure.

Should Dr Disrespect's YouTube channel have stayed demonetized?

The big question is whether or not the creator's YouTube channel should have stayed demonetized. After a series of controversial events unfolding involving the character, many were hoping to see the man's career within the streaming world fade away.

Unfortunately, it is hard to completely delete someone from the world of streaming unless every platform chooses to ban them.

Dr Disrespect was first banned by Twitch back in 2020 for reasons that were not released until June of 2024, providing insight into a dark world the man surrounds himself in. Immediately following the admittance to inappropriately messaging a minor, YouTube had demonetized his entire page.

This was a huge win for many in the community, but sadly, it seems as if the creator will officially be making money, once again, on YouTube.
