CookieRun NYC pop-up arrives with exclusive merch and more

CookieRun NYC pop-up shop is now open at the LINE FRIENDS New York Times Square location through April 26. This 10-day event brings the game into the states for the first time ever and features more than 130 items to check out. Fans can get NYC-exclusive merchandise such as Statue of Liberty-themed GingerBrave items, apparel, and tote bags.

The pop-up shop’s location also features a CookieRun photo booth, Shadow Milk Cookie and Eternal Sugar Cookie appearances, and autograph sessions with CJ Pawlikowski and Gabi Hankins-Manoukian. Pawlikowski is the English voice actor for  Shadow Milk Cookie while Hankins-Manoukian voices Eternal Sugar Cookie.

There’s a large exterior video display facing Times Square itself as well, showing off the CookieRun franchise in one of the world’s most high-traffic locations.

Western fans eat up CookieRun NYC experience

According to Devsisters, the NYC pop-up shop marks a major milestone for the CookieRun franchise in a key market. CookieRun: Kingdom reached YouTube’s Top 10 trending topics in 2025, and fan demand has driven interest in an in-person CookieRun experience. U.S. fans now account for 65% of all online CookieRun merchandise purchases made outside Korea.

Recently, the franchise also expanded with CookieRun: OvenSmash, a new mobile brawler that quickly reached the top of the App Store within hours of its launch. The game features fast-paced matches, multiple modes such as Castle Crasher and Drop the Beat, mini-games, hidden quests, and so much more.

CookieRun: OvenSmash’s launch and the CookieRun NYC pop-up reflect the franchise’s growing presence in Western markets. As noted, interest in the series has been rising, and Devsisters’ March release of CookieRun: Braverse: A Game of Truth and Deceit expansion, a trading card game (TCG), further supports this.
