In the first 12 months of Overwatch 2, a ridiculous amount of boops were achieved by Lucio, Brigitte, and Winston players. Meanwhile, over 26 million players got crushed by D.Va's mech! Additionally, the Prop Hunt game mode featuring Genji and Kiriko was acknowledged for its popularity. As for the most-played hero in Overwatch 2, that title goes to Ana!

- 1,058 as the highest-earned Battle Pass tier
- 182,522,380 number of times B.O.B. did something
- 26,747,833 players crushed by D.Va's mech
- 146,621 days Pharah time spent in the air

When did Overwatch 2 come out?
Overwatch 2 launched on October 4, 2022 as a free-to-play (F2P) game that introduced heroes such as Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko. As time went on, the game released more heroes such as Ramattra, Lifeweaver, and Illari.
On August 10, 2023, the game arrived on Steam alongside the launch of Overwatch 2 Season 6. This season introduced Illari as a new hero, two maps for the Flashpoint game mode, plus some PvE Story Missions.
What's next for Overwatch 2?
In terms of what's next for the game, Overwatch 2 Season 7 will arrive on Oct. 10. According to Blizzard, the season will feature reworks for Sombra and Roadhog, the Trials of Sanctuary game mode, new mythic Onryō Hanzo skin, the Samoa map, and a plethora of Halloween-themed skins.
