Brawlhalla Trial of Skuld Results: Dominance and competition

Himwy proved once again his status of the best Brawlhalla player in the region. 

In the top 8 of the Trial of Skuld, himwy defeated Serenity in the semi and then KeithThePooPoo in the final and the grand final.

Godly was unstoppable once again in his region. And to reach the top, he demonstrated his flexibility with Brawlhalla Legends. Godly played Teros (with the Roman Reigns skin), but after losing a game to bamya, he switched to Wu Shang (with the Aang skin) and thus nicely adapted to the matchup. And when Godly lost two games with those characters in the winners final vs Delta, he switched to Petra, and used this Legend till the end, including the grand final against the same opponent.

It is also worth noting that Mounir used even more characters during the Trial of Skuld. But this is not an ultimate recipe for success, as Delta, who reached the top 2, played Roman Reigns throughout the whole tournament.

After the two trial victories, Godly almost certainly qualifies for the Royale.

The SA Brawlhalla players did not switch their Legends too often — and the top 4 competitors at the Trial of Skuld stuck to their main characters. It feels like this approach also brings good results, considering how dominant the region is on the international esports scene.

Kyna, the Spring Royale and Mid-Season Championship winner, played Roman Reigns, and he defeated lores, yüz (the current World Champion), and Power on his way to victory.

It is more than possible that we will see Kyna playing at the Autumn Royale in October.

Unlike in the other regions, the competition in NA is more intense, and we have a different person winning the tournament. The Trial of Heimdall winner, Raydish, entered the top 8 part via the lower brackets, and he was eliminated by BalloonBoy in the quarter-final. It is still a good placement and some points for Raydish to reach the Royale.

The all-time Brawlhalla competitive icon, Sandstorm, had a tough time in the upper-bracket semi-final vs BalloonBoy. Only when the opponent reached the match point, did Sandstorm abandon the idea of playing Tezca and take Mordex. That helped him advance to the final.

Impala, the Brawlhalla World Champion 2022, played his new main character, Koji (instead of Kaya). He won the semi vs Clem, who brought one of the newest Legends to the tournament, Vivi. In the winners final against Sandstorm, Impala couldn’t stop his opponent and lost 0:3. But after defeating BalloonBoy in the lower brackets, Impala still proceeded to the grand final.

Sandstorm stuck to Mordex till the Trial of Skuld ended. In the last match, he lost only game 1 but then recovered and won three games in a row.

Sandstorm was 5th-6th at the Trial of Heimdall. This victory gives the player a nice boost in the Brawlhalla Summer Circle 2024 NA leaderboard.

This Brawlhalla esports tournament happens in four main regions, and therefore, it continues for three days. Here is the schedule of the Trial of Skuld. Note that the streams start later than the actual tournaments.

There are two types of tournaments in the Brawlhalla Esports Summer Circles 2024.

For the viewers, the difference is minimal. We should watch the partner tournaments on their channels instead of the official ones, and we have Twitch drops instead of official viewership rewards.

The Southeast Asian Brawlhalla players are affected the most. Not only do they have fewer tournaments, but their region is also out of the Royale competition.

Europe, South America, and North America participate in the official league. The four top players from these regions proceed to the ultimate event, the Brawlhalla Autumn Royale Invitational, which happens between October 11 and October 13.

To get viewership rewards, you must watch the streams on the official Twitch channel for specific hours. The codes for the esports colors, title, and weapon skin will be unlocked automatically, and you will need only to redeem them in the game.
