Connecting your battle net account with YouTube is a necessity if you wish to redeem in-game rewards for viewing tournament streams.

Blizzard often rewards regular Overwatch League viewers with cosmetic skins, sprays, and more. But in order to receive these cosmetics, players have to ensure they have linked their Battle.net account with their YouTube accounts. For those who have not yet done this, we have a detailed step-by-step guide on how to link your accounts.

On the top right corner of your YouTube homepage, click on your profile picture. Then go down to settings in the dropdown options.

Go to connected apps

Now the next step is to go to connected apps. This section allows you to see all the apps that are currently connected to your YouTube account.

Click on the connect button next to Battle.net

You will see a list of various game publishers and apps in this section. Since you want to connect your Battle.net account with YouTube, click on the corresponding connect button.

You will receive a small popup confirming your choice to give access to Battle.net. Blizzard is trustworthy to hand over basic read information about your YouTube, so just click connect against.

Continue, connect. You will receive a prompt to enter your username and password later.

Once you enter your login information, you will get a confirmation message stating your accounts have been connected. 

Now you can watch Overwatch League matches and other approved events to get in-game rewards. 

For Overwatch League 2023, Blizzard has announced that players will receive cosmetic items and in-game sprays for watching the official streams. There are Battle Pass tier skips, exclusive sprays, Player Icons, name Icons, and much more.
