Timado joins OG

The carry player will join OG and attempt to bring back the glory days for the org. The player last played for Tundra esports before he parted ways in January this year. He has been without a team ever since. He has played several events with OG recently and his signing does not really come as a huge surprise for fans.

Timado stood in for OG esports at ESL One Birmingham, DreamLeague Season 22 as well as the PGL Wallachia 2024 Qualifier. OG finished fourth at ESL One Birmingham, a commendable result considering they were playing with a stand-in. The team actually topped their Group with a 1-4-0 score. In th playoffs, they eliminated G2.iG before losing out to Team Falcons.

Prior to Birmingham, he was also a stand-in for OG during the DremaLeague Season 22. The team finished sixth with $47,500 in prize money. The position also earned them 1,400 ESL Pro Tour points which would be useful in future events qualification.

The Dota 2 esports scene is headed towards PGL Wallachia 2024 which has a unique theme for an esports event. The tournament will have sixteen teams competing for their share of the million-dollar prize pool. It runs for ten days starting on May 5 and will continue till May 19, 2024.

OG will not be participating in Wallachia or DreamLeague Season 23. The team failed to qualify for the events despite their best attempts during the qualifiers. However, with Riyadh Masters coming up it will be interesting to see if the team can make it to one of the biggest epsorts events in history.
