A number of commentators have accused matchfixing activity in a China DPC series between Knights and EHOME.
Knights, an up-and-rising team in China (CN) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) is once again in the hot seat after a second serious allegation rose to the surface. The team was first accused of using map hacks in their match against PSG.LGD. This time around, a couple of personalities have accused matchfixing activity in a series between Knights and EHOME.
Knights vs EHOME series brought strong suspicions from the community
Two weeks ago on January 11, Knights faced accusations of cheating in a game against PSG.LGD. The claims stated that Knights was using a vision hack that allowed players to see the enemy location and wards. A former community caster, 杰出哥 (JieChuGe), also pointed out the team's suspicious movements and decisions. TI11 winner, Sneyking portrayed the video as a damning evidence. Perfect World, the CN DPC organizer, has taken the case to Valve but there has been no update since.
Recently, another foul play accusation bombs CN DPC, once again involving Knights. The team faced EHOME in the fourth week of DPC, both teams playing in their last game of the season. While Knights is already qualified for Lima Major, EHOME has yet to make its climb with one slot remaining in the region. The game ended 2-0 in EHOME's favor. The result bumped up the team's standings while Knights now ties in 2nd place with PSG.LGD.
