Group A: GG thrives, PSG Quest tumbles

The first day was an incredibly great start for Gaimin Gladiators. The team leads the standings with a 4-0 score, defeating a solid Xtreme Gaming and PSG Quest. It is even more impressive as Xtreme just recently finished as the runner-up of PGL Wallachia.

While Gaimin Gladiators look in great form, PSG Quest sees the opposite. The team is one of the dark horses of the tournament, with not too many expectations. But the team is a potential threat, recently placing a top 6 in Elite League, pulling off considerable upsets. But the first day of DreamLeague Season 23 Group Stage was a tough start, and they'll have two more days to recover. In the meantime, XG, HEROIC, Aurora, and Team Liquid all secured themselves one series win and loss.

Group B: Another day in the office for Falcons

Group B of DreamLeague Season 23 sees a slightly more colorful result. Team Falcons, as per usual, looks dominant. The team now reunited with its midlaner, Malr1ne, delivered strong wins against Azure Ray and Tundra Esports. They now lead the standings of Group B with a 4-0 score.

Interestingly, BetBoom Team doesn't look too convincing. Following their early exit in PGL Wallachia, BetBoom's lacking start in this tournament may be concerning. The team secured a win against NAVI but suffered a loss against Azure Ray.
