Valve has finally launched the Dreams & Nightmares skins case in CS: GO. The new case features 17 new weapon finishes which were the winning entries of the Dreams & Nightmares contest. 

The CS:GO team reviewed over 15,000 entries from artists around the world and selected 17 weapon finishes to ship in the case. Each winning entry received $100,000 USD, for a grand total prize pool of $1.7 million. mThe winning submissions were produced by 23 different artists, of which 14 were first-time contributors to the workshop.

The Dreams and Nightmares weapons case contains community-created cosmetics. Valve first announced the contest in July 2021 with a million-dollar prize pool. In November, Valve increased the prize pool to $1.7 million. There were more than 15,000 submissions for the case and Valve selected the best from the lot.

What is the Prize of the Contest?

Valve first announced the Dreams and Nightmares contest last year. The competition urged the community to submit their artwork and each winning entry receives prize money of $100,000. The CS: GO development team judged all the submissions.

The winning submissions were produced by 23 different artists, of which 14 were first-time contributors to the workshop.

The Dreams and Nightmares skins case is available in the Steam market. Most of the skins are also available on the Steam market for those who like a specific cosmetic item.
