The team will debut in the Hellcase Cup #10

Talon have announced their return to Counter-Strike putting an end to months of rumors. The organization has picked up a roster comprising majorly of players Down under. Here’s what we know so far.

The squad will be led by Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward who was last seen with Sprout. He has been inactive for most of the past year. Joining him on the squad are nettik and hazr. Hazr was a part of Bad News Kangaroos along with ADDICT. There is a new player in Nettik who will have to prove his worth on this squad.

We really feel like the footprint Talon has can provide Asian-Pacific CS the right opportunities to become the best in the world.

Talon CEO Sean Zhang

The roster will most likely be competing in Europe as per HLTV report. Playing in Europe will ensure they get to compete against the best teams in the world.

In the short term, the team’s goal remains to qualify for the Shanghai Major. With the new season just kicking off, it will be interesting to see how the team shapes up in their attempt to qualify for the Major.

What is Talon’s Counter-Strike roster?

With the new signing, here’s Talon’s Counter-Strike 2 roster:

  • Aaron "AZR" Ward
  • Corey "nettik" Browne
  • Jared "hazr" O'Bree
  • Christian "ADDICT" Pendleton
  • Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak

Daniel "djL" Narancic is the teams’ coach and hopefully, the roster will go on to achieve new heights. The team will make its debut in the Hellcase Cup 10 and will go up against TSM in their opening match. Accompanying the two teams are 1win and Young Ninjas in the Group D. Only two teams from Group D will advance to the playoffs and Talon’s first goal would be to make the playoffs.
