What can we expect from this match?
Virtus.Pro are currently 2-1 having won their series against paiN Gaming and HEROIC. Their only loss came against Imperial Esports on Inferno. Imperial Esports will be playing against FaZe Clan in the Round 4 elimination match at the PGL Copenhagen Major.
Virtus.Pro's roster has been together for quite some time. The team's performance so far in 2024 has been impressive with strong results in BLAST Premier Spring Gruops, the Dallas European qualifier as well as previously in the RMR.
However, they bombed out early at IEM Katowice which might be an indicator of their performance in international matches. That being said, the team does have momentum on its side and the confidence after all these strong performances will be more than enough to see them make aggressive plays in this match.
Eternal Fire have not had the same type of results in 2024. The team finished better than Virtus.Pro at Katowice, but their performance in the RMR left much to be desired. On paper, Virtus.Pro seems to have the upper hand and should be able to qualify for the playoffs.
