Broky stepped up in the series that mattered mastering 56 frags over the course of three maps. The first map of Nuke was FaZe Clan's map of choice. They had a relatively even 6-6 half but their discipline was clearly visible in the second half CT side.

Imperial esports' Anubis pick had FaZe similarly stumped. While there were moments of brilliance by broky and frozen, it wasn't enough. Imperial esports clearly had the better strats on this map and HEN1, with his 77.3 ADR got the frags. But it was a team-effort that saw Imperial win Anubis.

The final map was Mirage, a map that KarrigaN is extremely comfortable on. Mirage is a map that FaZe have historically been known to be very strong on. The team's performance on this map did not disappoint. Ropz and broky stepped up with 18 frags, but it was an all-round team effort. KarrigaN himself had a positive KDA highlighting the impact of him staying alive on most rounds. FaZe won Mirage 13-8 and with it the series 2-1

What to expect from this series?

Imperial Esports qualified for the elimination stage after a grueling Opening stage The team started off the opening stage with a win against ENCE. However, the victory against ENCE only pitted them against another strong European team in Heroic. Being best-of-one matches, there was always the option of the map going either way and it went in favor of Heroic.

Imperial Esports finished the opening stage with a 3-2 score, losing to Heroic and ECSTATIC. Their victories came against ENCE, Apeks, and GamerLegion.

The elimination stage started with a resounding 13-6 victory over Virtus.Pro. But then they succumbed in their next two matches against Team Spirit on Mirage and Vitality on Overpass. The 2-13 loss to Team Spirit was a particularly demoralizing one for their fans, but it was on a map where Imperial are not known to be their best. They had a much better performance against Vitality, managing to score nine rounds.

Meanwhile, FaZe Clan is one of the best teams in the Counter-Strike scene. The team won the European RMR aA and qualified directly to the elimination stage. So far, the team has lost to HEROIC And Eternal Flame. They are on the verge of elimination and need a victory in this series and the next if they are to qualify for the playoffs.

With big names on the roster, this team does not lack experience, neither does it lack firepower. However, it will be interesting to see how they play under the elimination pressure.
