Playoff brackets and results at PGL Bucharest 2026

The two biggest tournament favorites, according to CS2 betting platforms, are seeded to one quarterfinal: PARIVISION and The MongolZ. The opponents in this bracket are both young teams, and FUT already defeated PARIVISION during the Swiss Stage.

If Astralis overcomes their inner demons, they can reach the grand final at PGL Bucharest 2026. Winning the tournament will be much more difficult for this roster.

Quarterfinals, 3DMAX vs MIBR and Astralis vs EYEBALLERS

  • 3DMAX has had a shaky start to the year. The roster changes from February are finally reflected in the tournament results. The team recovered a lost map against MIBR, which opened with a 3:9 half on Inferno. Then, 3DMAX made it through two very close battles on Ancient and Nuke.
  • MIBR had a very limited presence at big tournaments, and reaching the top 8 at PGL Bucharest is quite a decent result for the players.

EYEBALLERS had a promising start in the match against Astralis. They won on Mirage and battled in overtime on Ancient. Astralis smashed their opponents with a 13:2 on Inferno.

  • For Astralis, it’s a must-do win. With no top teams in the mix, they are among the PGL Bucharest 2026 favorites. The performance progress for Astralis was notable during ESL Pro League Season 23, where they were in the top 3.
  • EYEBALLERS are fresh players on the big CS2 scene. This tournament is their best result this season.

Quarterfinals, FUT Esports vs B8 and PARIVISION vs The MongolZ

FUT Esports vs B8 was a battle of young powers in CS2 esports. Despite having really close maps, B8 could not take even one point in the match score. FUT advance to the PGL Bucharest semifinal to face a bigger challenge, The MongolZ.

  • B8 shone brightly last year, being one of the best underdog teams at the Budapest Major.
  • The current roster of FUT Esports is formed with the NAVI Junior players. In 2026, FUT has impressive wins and decent tournament results. They finished 4th at EPL Season 23 after beating MOUZ in the quarterfinal.

PARIVISION took a ride downwards on their performance rollercoaster. They lost to The MongolZ after a really good start on Dust II. The MongolZ overplayed PARIVISION on Mirage and Ancient.

  • PARIVISION barely qualified for the playoffs, having pretty disappointing losses in the PGL Bucharest 2026 Swiss Stage: to 3DMAX and FUT Esports. The competitive season has ups and downs so far for the team: from winning BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 to not reaching main events at IEM Kraków and EPL S23.
  • The MongolZ have reached stable top 6-8 placements at big CS2 esports tournaments after being only in the top 16 at Intel Extreme Masters Kraków 2026. To lift the trophy in Bucharest, they need to stop the game’s new generation in the semifinal.

Semifinals

Astralis defeated 3DMAX and advanced to the grand final at PGL Bucharest 2026.

The first half on Dust II was quite one-sided, as Astralis recovered from losing the pistols and earned a 9:3 advantage as CTs. After switching sides, 3DMAX had a nice series of rounds, which made the score decently close.

On Overpass, Astralis had a proper T-side performance, and they got ahead as CTs — to win the map and the match.

In an extremely close match, FUT esports defeated The MongolZ. The young team has been performing true miracles at PGL Bucharest 2026! Reaching the grand final is already a wonderful achievement.

On Nuke, FUT Esports managed to grab a late-game advantage on the T side, which is impressive. On Mirage, The MongolZ were ahead with a 9:4, and then, even reaching overtime became a challenge for them.

Finals

In the third-place final, The MongolZ defeated 3DMAX in quite a dominant way. If on Inferno, 3DMAX could take occasional rounds on the T side, The MongolZ did not give the opponents even this comfort on Inferno — 13:2 was a complete annihilation.

The tournament winners were decided in the grand final: FUT Esports beat Astralis with some disastrous scores.
