The Five Best Weapons To Use in Call of Duty: Vanguard

Call of Duty Vanguard has a host of new and exciting weapons for players but which ones are the BEST? We’ll tell you.

There are a boatload of new weapons for players to try out in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Yet, there are a handful of them that rain supreme above them all. It is with that in mind that we have decided to highlight the weapons that are well and truly better than all the rest. Here are our picks for the five best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Vanguard right now.

Best Weapons To Use in Vanguard

STG-44

Starting off this list we have, arguably, the most overpowered weapon in Vanguard at the moment. The STG is an assault rifle that can do just about anything you want it to do. It can dominate opponents from medium range and is surprisingly good at handling short range engagements for an assault rifle.

MP-40

The SMGs in are fairly balanced in CoD this year for the most part. However the MP40 stands just a smidgeon above its' counterparts. This is primarily due to the fact it is a more versatile weapon in the medium-to-long range battles. It's steady fire rate also means that you are more likely to get a precise shot instead just simply spraying and praying.

It also appears to be the sub of choice for a lot of the professional players so they may in fact be on to something with this one. Like with the STG, the MP40 is available to players once you unlock Create-A-Class at level 4 so you can instantly start leveling it up.

Automaton

The Automaton is more of the bog standard Assault Rifle compared to the STG. It is a highly accurate slaying machine that will allow players to lockdown lanes and dominate players at range. What is most surprising about this weapon is its' very fast fire rate; a trait that will make short range engagements a bit more manageable. It is somewhat similar to the M4A1 in that regard. So if you are looking to hone your skills as a Main AR in Vanguard, the Automaton may be the best option for you.

M1928

While the MP40 is currently the head of the pack when it comes to SMGs, the M1928 isn't to far behind. The ever faithful Thompson has a much faster fire rate than it's German counterpart so it is more accustomed to the run-and-gun playstyle.

It is also a fair bit lighter than some of the other guns in the category so you will be able to zip around the map almost effortlessly. The trade off is that it isn't all that great at long range, but it more than makes up for it at close range. The M1928 is available to players at level 20 and it is more than capable of going the distance in-game.

Kar98k

In the battle for the king of the snipers, the Kar98k definitely fits that description in Vanguard. It's high damage output means it is almost guaranteed to get a One-Shot-Kill wherever you manage to hit your opponent. It's also quite a good option for those of the quick-scoping variety, as the Kar98k is very accurate.

Unfortunately you won't gain access to the weapon until you hit level 43, but it is certainly worth the wait to acquire. So if you are looking to become an elite sniper within Vanguard, the Kar98k should be your weapon of choice.
