EA to "evolve the game" and warns that "nothing is safe"

"Nothing is safe, everything you know and love, there may be changes coming down the line. You've been warned," said Steve Ferreira, Apex Legends' Game Director.

One example of this is confirmation that they will be shutting down Arenas and adding a Team Deathmatch mode.

Nemesis: New energy weapon coming in Apex Legends Season 16

The Nemesis is a brand new energy weapon for Apex Legends Season 16. EA devs said they are "tuning this one hot" to compete with the likes of the R-301 and the Flatline. We got a glimpse of the new gun in the Apex Legends Revelry launch trailer.

"Meet the Nemesis, a new energy class assault rifle that fires four rounds per burst. With a ramping burst delay that decreases the time between bursts and simulates a fully automatic weapon, the Nemesis is guaranteed to ruin the day of at least one Legend next match."

"We're going to be doing a deep dive on existing legends, make a few buffs and a few nerfs. A few that we are going to touch are Lifeline, Seer and Wraith."

Evan Nikolich, Apex Legends' Design Director.
