XDefiant is Ubisoft’s arena shooter, with a slew of maps from other Ubisoft titles that may recognize as you play.

XDefiant is a free-to-play arcade shooter with a variety of content. There are tons of Ubisoft properties in the game, shown by its weapons, Factions, and even Easter Eggs in its practice section. With such a vast title, of course, there are plenty of maps to do battle on in XDefiant.

You'll find a double digit amount of maps upon launch, and many more coming as it progresses through its seasonal format. Each map serves a purpose, whether it is an arena-style map or a progression-style map. We'll let you know which is which.

Right now, the game is in its preseason without any new additions. When Season 1 arrives, new content is on the way. That includes several new maps joining the already long list.

We'll list for you here every new map, including if it is an arena or progression map, and the season it was introduced to the game.

Per the Year 1 Roadmap, we can expect a total of 12 new maps before 365 days of XDefiant has gone by. That will extend the list of available battlegrounds greatly.
