Some of XDefiant's maps are original works specifically for the game. Others are based off of iconic Ubisoft titles that will definitely look familiar to you if you've played them before.

The same can be said about its Factions, which are directly slotted into XDefiant from whatever Ubisoft game they have appeared in.

Here is every Ubisoft game that is referenced in XDefiant, and its role in the free-to-play shooter:

  • The Division
    • Cleaners (Faction)
    • Dumbo (Map)
    • Emporium (Map)
    • Times Square (Map)
    • Zoo (Map)
  • The Division 2

As you can see, many Tom Clancy and other Ubisoft titles have been added into XDefiant. Take a look at the practice area and you'll find posters, arcade cabinets, and other hints at the games that we listed above, outside of the obvious inclusion of the maps and Factions.

As the seasons of XDefiant progress, you can expect more additions from the aforementioned games, and new ones not seen yet in the FPS. The Ubisoft catalog is a large one, which means they could deliver content from a slew of titles we haven't even thought of yet.

Imagine the likes of Assassin's Creed, Skull and Bones, Prince of Persia, or other Far Cry entries making their way into XDefiant. Not to mention outlier games like Rayman, the Rabbids, and Beyond Good & Evil. Depending on how grounded they want the game, who knows what we could see.
