There’s a few faction in town, so come learn all about Provisioner Aristta, Mysterious Fragments, and ‘The Big Dig’ in WoW Dragonflight!

If you're expecting large bounties of new loot in the final Dragonflight patch then you're out of luck. Instead is a number of housekeeping quests, fun transmogs, and other things to keep your guild busy until pre-patch silliness in spring. However, Seeds of Renewal may have many of you asking the identity of Provisioner Aristta, what you use Mysterious Fragments for, and what the 'The Big Dig' quest in WoW Dragonflight is all about.

Have no fear, my dear Googlers: We have answers. Here's everything you need to know about this new vendor, her wares, and what to expect when you're expecting to dig.

Added as part of the Azerothian Archives content in Seeds of Renewal, you'll first need to get your digging feet wet before heading off to Traitor's Rest. The starting quest 'The Big Dig: Traitor's Rest', as well as the Azerothian Archives faction, all starts here in Northern Thaldrazus. If you follow the quest marker on your big map you may accidentally go to high and end up in a location seen from the Algeth'ar Academy dungeon. Drop down to the base of the tower. Here, you'll find Provisioner Aristta, the start of 'The Big Dig,' and a new currency called Mysterious Fragments.

After all, it wouldn't be an archeology quest in WoW without fragments of something.

For those needing coordinates for this sort of thing, you'll find it at 61.38, 31.40.

So, how do you get this new currency? Along with Archivist Knowledge, questions from the Azerothian Archives faction tend to reward Mysterious Fragments. You'll use this over at our new friend Provisioner Aristta to gain transmogs and even purchase a new mount--the Explorer's Stonehide Packbeast.

You'll find the full list of Provisioner Aristta and her wares in-game. Though, don't get too excited: It's more of the same chisels, exploration gear, and other transmogs you've already been getting throughout Dragonflight.
