The showmatch will take place just before the VCT LOCK//IN Grand finals
Tarik and FRTTT will compete in a showmatch at VCT Sao Paulo right before the Grand Finals Riot Games announced today. The showmatch will feature two teams led by Tarik and FRTTT.
The showmatch will be a best-of-one match and both team captains can form their own teams. The rosters will most likely comprise streamers and influencers. They might also include players from some of the eliminated teams although that seems unlikely.
When is the VCT LOCK//IN showmatch?
The VCT LOCK//IN Showmatch will take place on March 4, 9 am PT.
The match will see influencers and streamers competing and there might be a bit of trash talk. All of this will be broadcast live before the Brazilian community, so we can expect a packed event for the Grand finals.
Tarik is a part of Team Sentinels while FRTTT is contracted with Team Liquid. At the time of writing it is still not confirmed what their complete rosters will be. However, with only a few days to go before the final day of games, we can expect some announcements very soon.
The VCT LOCK//IN 2023 tournament is currently ongoing. The tournament has a best-of-three single-elimination format, where half of the teams will go back home after playing one best-of-three. The tournament also has two Chinese teams with EDG coming extremely close to upsetting NA’s 100Thieves.
