TFT Set 17.1 patch notes

The new set updates the loot system, tweaks a few keywords, changes up the pool of augments, and so much more as well. Here are the TFT Set 17.1 patch notes, courtesy of Riot Games.

  • The Realm of the Gods set mechanic
    • Replacing the Carousel, The Realm of the Gods offers you two gods to choose an offering from, then a less powerful, generic one from Pengu. All God offerings will come with a component.
    • If you’re lower in the standing, HP wise, Pengu will offer you higher cost units and you will receive component anvils instead of random components during PvE.
    • On 4-7, the god you have aligned with will offer you a boon in the form of an armory. That god will continue to periodically drop off loot for the remainder of the game.
  • Shop odds
    • Level 7: 16/30/43/10/1% ⇒ 19/30/40/10/1%
  • Loot system
    • The number of components dropped on Stage 3-7 has been reduced by 1.
    • Stage 4-7 has been replaced by a special God Blessing round that will grant 1-3 components.

    • Players who surrender will be set to -99 player health, placing below other players regardless of combat outcome.
