MOUZ is entering the VALORANT space, announcing the signing of VRL DACH qualifiers MMix. The lineup is made up of former Team Liquid, Team Heretics, and Rix.GG Thunder players.
The MOUZ organization is an esports industry legend, competing in Counter-Strike and other titles since 2002. The German-based team is bringing on a mix of European talent, looking to immediately compete within the strongest region of VCT. This is the first time Mousesports (MOUZ) has shown an interest in VALORANT.
The first name that pops in the announcement is the former Team Liquid controller James “Kryptix” Affleck, who last made an appearance with Liquid during the Stage 3 EMEA Challengers Playoffs. Soon after, Kryptix made the decision to leave the team due to problems outside the game. Kryptix adds tier one experience to a new team that needs it.
As for German representation, Felix "al0rante" Brandl, the former Heretics initiator, is the lone German on the roster.
