Cloud9 White, a household name in competitive Valorant, is no more after the organization says goodbye to its players.

Even without the Valorant Game Changers Championship under their belt, when you think of NA Game Changers, Cloud9 White is the team that comes to mind. Their domination of the scene was second-to-none over the last two years. The team truly brought eyes to the esport that may not have been there without their reign.

Now, the winningest Game Changers team exits the Cloud9 organization and goes their separate ways.

Cloud9 White placed 4th at the Game Changers Championship in Berlin. This is after years of 1st place finishes. The team has won six championships with the exit of Annie "Annie" Roberts as the only significant roster change.

Those championship victories are:

  • VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 1
  • VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 2
  • VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 3
  • VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 1
  • VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 2
  • VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3

That's quite the resume for the following players that have departed:

  • Melanie "meL" Capone
  • Alexis "alexis" Guarrasi
  • Jasmine "Jazzyk1ns" Manankil
  • Katja "katsumi" Pfahnl
  • Bob "Bob" Tran

Multiple Cloud9 White players have discussed the possibility of playing in the main Valorant Champions Tour in the past. That has been the goal since they began their stranglehold over the North American Game Changers circuit. It would be very surprising if that doesn't happen.

Many partnered teams have already established their rosters, but the Ascension leagues are wide open. What the future holds for these players is unknown, but there's a strong chance that each of them could slot into an Ascension roster, alone or as a combination.
