To get this far, the players had to prove their mettle in several TWT 2024 qualifiers.

This global league is pretty special to the TEKKEN community. It’s the first World Tour within the newest game, TEKKEN 8, and it started soon after the title's release. Even top-level professionals needed to adapt to the new fighting environment. Some of them struggled in the beginning, saying that TEKKEN 8 rewards aggressive offense too much. Others got the vibes pretty soon and dominated the TEKKEN World Tour 2024 (TWT 2024) tournaments.

Changes happened to the game throughout the qualification periods, with patch 1.05 being especially big and impactful. A new character then joined the roster and shook the balance: Lidia Sobieska. There were 10 Master events and many Challengers. The circuit was just wonderful! Now, only one step left — and it’s the TWT 2024 Finals. All of the event details are right here.

When and where does the TWT 2024 Finals event happen?

The final battles of TWT 2024 happen from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8 in Tokyo, Japan. The prize pool of this event is $300,000.

  • Dec. 5 to Dec. 6 — Group League
  • Dec. 7 — TWT 2024 Last Chance Qualifier
  • Dec. 8 — TWT 2024 Finals

Even more adjustments are set to happen in the game before the TWT 2024 Finals. Heihachi Mishima is already part of the roster, and he is a new power to reckon with. Some nerfs are promised for a few characters, including Dragunov and Nina in patch 1.09. For all TEKKEN 8 news and updates, stick around on esports.gg.
