All Tekken 8 character episodes and how to unlock them

In Tekken 8, you can access different episodes to get a better idea of each fighter's story. Read on for the list of every Tekken 8 character episode and how to unlock the episodes for Jun Kazama and Reina!

Each fighter in Tekken 8's roster has their own character episode. After you select an episode and enter it, you'll duke it out against opponents in a series of stages. A unique cutscene appears after you complete these fights.

Take Panda's Tekken 8 episode, for example. An adorable ending appears after you reject Kuma's love and defeat him in the final stage. Panda becomes the King of the Iron Fist Tournament and enters a special interview.

During the interview, Panda talks about her plans on building the Pandaland amusement park for her friend Xiaoyu.

Then, Panda talks about the frantic search for Jin Kazama. This character's image is all over the city, and Panda asks everyone to contact Mishima Zaibats as quickly as possible upon spotting Jin. This character episode is especially ironic when Panda sees Jin in the middle of the interview!

Completing a Tekken 8 episode results in some in-game currency and customization options. Panda's episode, for example, grants you 1,000,000 Fight Money.

Tekken 8 features episodes for each fighter, and the majority of these are automatically unlocked when you enter the game. However, while scrolling down the episode list, you may discover that Jun Kazama and Reina's character episodes are unavailable.

To unlock Jun Kazama's character episode, you must progress through The Dark Awakens story successfully. Do this by entering Tekken 8's main story mode and playing through it.

As for Reina, you can unlock her Tekken 8 episode after completing every chapter of the game's main story as well. Head to the game's main menu, go to the first tab, select "Story: The Darkness Awakens," and progress through all of the content.
