The Tour heads to Sinnoh.

February will see the return of the Pokémon GO tour, with the Sinnoh region the recipient of the event. There will be both an in person event, and an online event as is customary.

Trainers who wish to attend the in person Sinnoh Tour will have to head to Los Angeles, California. The event is being hosted at the Rose Bowl Stadium and tickets are available now.

Players will be able to pick between a Diamond or Pearl badge. The badge that each trainer pick will determine certain bonuses and rewards. The badge you pick at the in person event will carry over to the global event.

When is the Sinnoh Tour in Pokémon GO?

There are two parts to the tour, and the in person and online events take place at different times.

  • In person Sinnoh Tour: February 17-18 2024 (9am-5pm local time on each day).
  • Online Sinnoh Tour: February 24-25 2024 (10am-6pm local time on each day).

How to get Sinnoh Tour tickets:

The in person part of the Sinnoh Tour is a ticketed event. Tickets cost $30, but are reduced to $25 if purchased before December 31st.

Tickets will include one day of event gameplay, but you may purchase addons that allow you to play a second day of city wide gameplay.

Event bonuses include boosted shiny odds, 9 free raid passes and half egg hatch distance.

Is there a ticket for the Global Tour?

Currently, the Global Tour will be totally free to play and will not have a purchasable event ticket. In the past, there has been a ticket that gives holders additional bonuses during the event. This has often included boosted shiny odds.

It seems that there will not be any boost to shiny odds for the Global Tour. Those wishing to hunt Shiny Pokémon will have to head to Los Angeles if they want improved odds.

The Global event will feature three bonuses:

  • Half hatch distance for eggs placed in incubators during the event.
  • Make up to 6 special trades each day.
  • Half Stardust cost for trades.

Sinnoh Tour will bring several Pokémon GO shiny debuts
