The three locations for the in-person events of GO Fest 2026 have been announced as another Mythical Pokémon joins the game.

Pokémon GO has finally shared the official schedules for all of the GO Fest 2026 in-person events, along with the global launch.

GO Fest is one of the biggest annual events in Pokémon GO, and during this time, the game typically introduces exclusive gameplay bonuses, at least one new Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, and a rotating lineup of boosted wild spawns available for a limited window.

For new and seasoned players, GO Fest events are the best time to grind resources and XP, as well as power up a specific event-themed Pokémon that could become a strong attacker in the current meta.

If you’re interested in joining Pokémon GO Fest this year, below are the important details that are available so far.

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: All in-person and global event schedules

Mewtwo strikes back in Pokémon GO

Players who missed getting the Mewtwo encounter during the 30th Anniversary event can still capture the Genetic Pokémon by joining the five-star raids of any of the in-person events for Pokémon GO Fest 2026.

Based on previous GO Fest trends, it is very likely that Mewtwo will also become available as a Raid Boss during Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Global. Fans are also hoping this could finally mark the debut of its Mega Evolution forms.

Zeraora makes its entrance

Zeraora takes its debut in Pokémon GO

The Thunderclap Pokémon from Generation 7, Zeraora, will serve as the newest Mythical Pokémon introduced across all Pokémon GO Fest 2026 events. Its role mirrors how GO Fest 2025 spotlighted Volcanion as the event’s featured mascot.

Ticket-holding participants for the in-person events of Pokémon GO Fest 2026 will be given a Special Research that eventually rewards an encounter with Zeraora upon completing specific tasks.

Like other ticket-holding Trainers, those who attend multiple in-person events can only get Zeraora once. If a Trainer has already completed the Special Research from a previous GO Fest event, receiving another Zeraora Special Research will instead reward them with Zeraora Candy.
