Defeat and capture lots of costume-wearing Pokémon in this upcoming raid day event!
With the absence of a raid day event in March, Pokémon GO is gearing up for a unique raid day event called the Fashion Raid Day, scheduled in one of the first few days of April 2026.
This event works almost the same as your regular raid day, except that instead of featuring a single Pokémon (usually a Mega), participants will get to fight various raid Pokémon wearing stylish costumes.
Costumed Pokémon function just like their standard counterparts, with identical stats and movesets. However, they stand out for their unique appearances, making them highly desirable for collectors. This event is especially worth joining if you are looking to catch distinctive variants or hunt for shinies.

Fashion Raid Day in Pokémon GO official schedule and event bonuses

The Fashion Raid Day is scheduled on April 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. wherever you are. If you’re reading this guide days before the event, you better stock up on some Premium Battle Passes and Link Charges to join as many raids as possible.
You can also purchase the $5 Fashion Day Ultra Ticket Box at the Pokémon GO Shop to get an event ticket that may allow you to join more raids, collect more rewards, and have a bonus Premium Battle Pass.
To spice up things even further, the following in-game bonuses will take effect during the event:
- Increased spawn rate for costumed raid Pokémon.
- Better shiny odds for raid Pokémon.
- Instead of one per day, players will get a total of six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.

Tips and best practices during the event
Since these raids are only either one-star or three-star raids, you can just play them yourself and still score wins as a solo battler. Using a party filled with powerful counters will definitely be an overkill for one-star raids, and you should have no problems clearing three-star raids as long as you use the suggested counters we provided above.
To get the best chances at Shiny Pokémon or getting the Raid Pokémon that you want, go to areas with lots of gyms like malls, parks, and other public places. The more gyms, the more raids you can choose.
If you still prefer joining raids with other players, feel free to use the Campfire app to look for any local Pokémon GO communities near you. Some community ambassadors may even organize catching contests that you can join for a chance to win code cards and exclusive merchandise.
