According to the Overwatch 2 Season 10 patch notes, Venture will enter the game and immediately be available for competitive play. This will be a major change because in the past, Overwatch 2 did not allow new heroes to join its ranked game mode right away. Next, there will be new ways to earn and unlock rewards. Up to 600 Overwatch Coins, for example, will be earnable through the free Battle Pass. Meanwhile, the new Mythic Prisms currency from the paid Battle Pass will allow players to get past mythic skins.

There will be a limited-time Overwatch 2 Clash trial as well, which will run from April 16 to April 29. Clash will be a core game mode and involve five capture points. According to Blizzard, only one objective will be active at a time and matches will kick off with an active objective in the center of the map.

As for Season 10 and beyond, don't forget about the upcoming changes to Wrecking Ball's kit plus major updates arriving to competitive mode, including wide group queues and leaver penalties. There will also be changes to Overwatch 2's disruptive chat, reporting system, streamer mode, plus system for avoiding teammates.
