They are back… ONCE AGAIN.

One of China's biggest Esports organizations, LGD Gaming, have partnered with OnceAgain Esports Club to create their own Overwatch 2 roster. Announced earlier today on LGD's social media account, the joint team has their eyes on the prize. Under the banner of Wufeng.LGD.OA, the squad is ready for the Esports World Cup.

Wufeng.LGD.OA Overwatch 2 roster

  1. Xu "Guxue" Qiulin (Tank)
  2. Huang "Leave" Xin (DPS)
  3. Zheng "shy" Yangjie (DPS)
  4. Zhou "Mmonk" Xiang (Support)
  5. Chen "Lengsa" Jingyi (Support)
  6. Yun "Rush" Hee-won (Head Coach)
  7. Yan "Creed" Xiao (Assistant Coach)

Wufeng.LGD.OA has already secured a spot at the Esports World Cup for Overwatch 2 as the invite from China. Also within their region are Team Falcons, ZETA DIVISION, Fnatic and Crazy Raccoon who all secured their invites from Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS) Asia Stage 1.

Each of the members of the Wufeng.LGD.OA squad are seasoned players with their own long history in the Chinese Overwatch 2 community. Even their coach, Rush, led the Dallas Fuel to their dominance back in 2021 and 2022. The other players, like Shy, Guxue, Leave, and Lengsa have all participated on Team China at the Overwatch World Cup last year. So suffice to say, Wufeng.LGD.OA is bringing out the big guns. And by that, we don't mean Mauga (but to be fair, Mauga does see a lot of play).

LGD.OA and Overwatch 2 at Esports World Cup 2024

There are a total of 16 teams participating at the Esports World Cup 2024 for Overwatch 2. These teams are the best of the best, qualifying through the OWCS circuit. Some of these teams include the newly signed Virtus. Pro, Fnatic, and BLEED Esports. So Wufeng.LGD.OA will have some competition for sure.
