The new LoL Mystery loot orbs grant random skins instead of traditional Battle Pass rewards, and the community is not happy about it.
In League of Legends (LoL) 2026 Season 2, the Battle Pass is changing, and instead of two epic skins, players will now receive Fiendish Mystery Loot Orbs that drop a themed Mystery Skin Permanent.
The community reaction has been largely negative, with many calling it the “biggest downgrade ever.” Here is a complete list of available skins in the orbs.
LoL Mystery skins list
In the LoL 2026 Season 2, Battle Passes will be slightly different from what you’re used to. Instead of receiving two themed skins and a Prestige skin, players will now earn Mystery Loot Orbs containing permanent mystery skins.
Since the new season’s theme revolves around demons, the skins contained in the Loot Orbs will belong to skin lines that fit this theme. The Pandemonium skins won’t be available in the loot orbs. These orbs don’t include Prestige skins.

This update has sparked a lot of discussion online about the Battle Pass changes. For many players, it feels like a downgrade compared to previous passes, particularly since the mystery loot system removes certainty about which champion’s skin you’ll receive, aside from the guaranteed Prestige reward.
“Most of the skins in the pass were great, but now I can’t even see what skins I’m getting,” a player wrote. “I ain’t paying for a pass just to get a skin I don’t like.” Another added: “What is the point in buying the pass now unless you main the champion that gets the Prestige skins? This is such a huge downgrade. If I wanted any of these old epic skins, I would just go and buy them directly.”

The second season kicks off on April 29 with many new updates, including WASD in ranked, arena updates, item updates, and more. Stay tuned to not miss a thing!
