Riot Forge announces three new League of Legends games coming in 2023

Here are the three titles that were announced today by Riot Forge.

Riot Games has today announced via Riot Forge three new League of Legends games that will all be coming in 2023. The Mageseeker, CONVERGENCE, and Song of Nunu are the names of the three titles that are coming to the ever-expanding League of Legends universe.

Riot Forge is a publishing label for Riot Games that are used to work with outside developers to create new League of Legends titles. An example is Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends story was developed by Choice Provisions and was published by Riot Forge.

Here are the three new games coming in 2023 from Riot Forge's announcement:

The Mageseeker

The Mageseeker is a gritty 2D hi-bit pixel action RPG that will see players play as Sylas in his quest to bring Demacia to its knees. The game will be developed by Digital Sun Games, the developers of the highly successful game Moonlighter. No further information has been released at this time.

What we do know is that The Mageseeker will be available on both console and on PC. In the announcement trailer, Mageseeker has an expected release schedule of Spring 2023.

Song of Nunu

The Song of Nunu will instantly capture the hearts of players in this single-player adventure game. The Song of Nunu will take players into the heart of the Freijlord through the adventures of Nunu and their best friend Willump. Song of Nunu is the second title announced for Riot Forge's 2023 lineup and has a scheduled release in Fall 2023.

The Song of Nunu is developed by Spanish game developers Tequila Works. It has been confirmed that Song of Nunu will be available across many consoles including the Nintendo Switch.

CONVERGENCE

Fans of Ekko in the hit Netflix series Arcane are in for a treat with CONVERGENCE. Players will head to Zaun where they will play as Ekko in a 2D action platformer. With a Summer 2023 release schedule, CONVERGENCE will be the third and final game released this year by Riot Forge.

Canadian developer Double Stallion will be the developer for CONVERGENCE. The Montreal-based studio specializes in 2D games and is a perfect fit for this upcoming League of Legends title.
