3x6, Bravery, Swift Arena, and No Event - here's a look at this season's Arena Events!
League of Legends 2026 Season 2 is pouring a lot of new content onto Arena! Here’s a preview of the new Event system and how the four Events for this Season will function. The events are “No Event,” “3×6,” “Bravery,” and “Swift Arena” — read up on all of them below.
Arena limited-time events
Arena is getting Events — a system that changes some of Arena’s fundamental rules. According to the team, their goal is to “keep the entire season entertaining, naturally create meta shifts, and help players feel like there’s always something to look forward to.”
Since Arena is now a semi-permanent game mode, Riot wanted to add features to keep it from becoming too monotonous. The variety from Events is a way to address this.
Events are part of a bigger set of changes hitting Arena in LoL 2026 Season 2. Read up on the new Augment Level-Up system and Map Changes. For non-Arena changes, the Deathfire Touch and Stormraider’s Surge runes are making a comeback, and WASD is entering ranked queues.
Throughout the entirety of Season 2, there will be four total Events.
No Event
During this Event, nothing will be modified. This is due to the broader set of changes, such as the new maps, Guests of Honor, Augments, and the Augment level-up system. This will most likely last for a patch.
3×6

This is the first real Event of the Season. Instead of the usual eight teams of two battling, this will involve six teams of three. “In a game with 170+ champions built with Summoner’s Rift in mind, there are quite a few that have fallen by the wayside when forced into 2v2 gladiatorial combat,” wrote the devs. This is true — there is a definitive list of Arena-viable champions and those who are not. 3×6 shakes up the tier list a little bit.
This will last for three patches – from 26.10 to 26.12.
Bravery
Bravery enjoyers rejoice! While Bravery is active, there will be fewer choices for you to pick from in champ select. The Bravery button is still there for you, and this will pick a truly random champion.
“Our goal with Bravery is primarily to give many players a version of Arena they’ve been asking for, but we also wanted to find a way to support players who want to overcome any obstacles the Arena throws at them with their adaptability and ability to flex into many different champions,” wrote Riot.
Swift Arena

This is a throwback to Arena’s roots. There will be only four teams of two clashing, making games quicker but delivering the same Arena experience. This will also make it easier to set up counterplays against enemies since there will be more fights against the same opponents.
